Which platform is best for blogging?
Great! You are going to start a beautiful blogging journey. You are lucky that you have come on this way. Before starting, one thing always remember 'never skip your goal'.
There are so many platforms to start a blog. Some paid v/s some free.
Free blogging platforms:
1. Blogger
2. Tumblr
3. Medium
4. Joomla
5. Contentful
If you are looking for a free service then blogger is best. It is owned by Google that is awesome. it has all professional features for free and Google update it's features time to time. It's the best.
You just need to buy a custom domain that is also not mandatory, you can also use '.blogspot subdomain but the one thing that I want to clear, people give preference to custom domain.
May be your '.blogspot' website is pretty good, still 90% people can ignore it. That's why I recommend you, first buy a domain and then create blog because adding domain after creating a blog, will spoil your blog SEO.
Paid platforms:
1. WordPress
2. Wix
3. Weebly
There are so many other platforms are also available but I have added here only popular platforms.
If you have money to invest then wordpress is the best. There are so many extensions available by WordPress that enhance the features of wordpress. You can add any extra feature just by adding any free or paid plugin.
